Was there at Kampung Bambu Kuning, Marunda, Cilincing, for Philips' CSR venue. It was like soooo far away in the north side of Jakarta. We had to stop the car a bit far away cause the road is very small that only motorcycle could go through it.

The sun was up in the sky and the land was dominated by sea waters for growing Bandengs and Shrimps. It was ubbbeeerrr hot even low temp from the AC couldn't help at all.

Anyways, throught this CSR programme, every houses there could have some Philips lamps for free. The idea was to promote energy savings by using the lamps given. Uniquely, there's a program too where people and change their used lamps with new Philips' lamps.

Another gig we had and this time we had to perform acoustically. Well, it was pretty fun. Not that we played superly good, but the atmosphere was very friendly. I always love performing infront of the so called friends.

Went to Rumah Betawi, a Betawi cuisine restaurant, with my cousins Idut and Gendis . The place is uniquely designed with comic pictures as wallpapers.

However, the most interesting thing that I observed was the back part of the menu. It's got a history of Betawinese food and beverage. One of the so many that caught my attention is this one, The History of Bir Pletok (beer from Betawi).

It said there that Bir Pletok is the drink of Betawi warrior... and... since they had no money to buy the alcohol beer, to fulfill the needs and also style, they created this beer (which got no alcohol at all) from spices lol

Wanna know bout the story behind it? Well, it actually belonged to my Aunt. Yeah, I know, most of my clothes are passed down from generations through generations lol. But really, this one actually came with a long dress. I don't really wanna wear the dress tho but I love this vest and kinda like made for every situations, formally and non-formally, depends on what you put under it XD

Martabak... yes, I was having one for dinner. What I love about this banana cheese flavoured Martabak from Martabak Alim is it's sooooo delicious. Not too sweet as in choco cheese one and it also has the right size. Yup, the size of the Martabak is like Pizza Hut's personal pan pizza. Definitely the right one for me stomach ^^
